After a long flight from the German Baltic Sea our funny golf ball BoB finally landed on a beautiful white sandy beach. We picked him up and welcomed him in Mexico. BoB was surprised by the hot weather and he was overwhelmed by the amazing colours of the blue sky and the crystal clear water of the Caribean Sea.

We three started our trip in Cancún, where we spent three nights in the hostel ‘El Meson De Tulum’. Our room was clean and comfortable with AC. A beautiful garden with a swimming pool, many palm trees and geckos around us made it a nice place to stay. It was located outside the typical tourism center which we could reach by bus within 15 minutes. For only 9 pesos!

Cancúns beaches are beautiful although very populated by tourists. It’s great for party people with its many bars, pubs, restaurants and night clubs. However, we decided to travel further south to the next city. . . Playa del Carmen.
